5 Reasons to Register to Vote on Campus

  1. You don't have to drive anywhere, you can just vote at the campus polling location.
  2. There's no need to deal with absentee ballots. Why complicate your life with more paperwork or mail?
  3. Participate in local elections and help elect representatives that reflect your issues while you are in college.
  4. We (GOTV) take care of sending your registration form.
  5. Florida is a swing state and your vote matters!

Ready to Register to Vote in Florida?

To be eligible to register to vote you must:

  • Be a citizen of the United States of America;
  • Be a legal resident of Florida;
  • Be a legal resident of the county in which you seek to be registered;
  • Be at least 16 years old to preregister or at least 18 years old to register and vote;
  • Not be a person who has been adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting in Florida or any other state without having the right to vote restored; and,
  • Not be a person who has been convicted of a felony without your civil rights having been restored.
  • Provide one of the following:
    • Current or valid Florida driver's license number
    • Florida identification card number
    • The last four digits of your Social Security Number

For students who have a valid Florida driver's license or Florida ID card, you can register to vote online.
