In order to ride the UBus shuttles, students must have their Cane Card and game ticket. Students may claim one ticket and purchase one additional student guest ticket for each football game.

Riding with UBus

  • Buses depart campus from the Plaza in front of Lakeside Village along Stanford Drive.
  • See times below for the first departure to Hard Rock Stadium.
  • The last bus leaves from Stanford Drive 30 minutes before kickoff time.
  • Buses returning to campus from the stadium will begin loading at halftime and continue until 30-minutes post-game.
  • Buses are free and only for UM students and guests with a student section ticket.
    • Only UM students and families participating in Family Weekend with a paid UBus ticket may ride UBus for Family Weekend.
  • No food or beverages will be allowed on the bus.
    • Students may bring a sealed or empty water bottle, 16 oz or smaller.
  • Students cited for disciplinary issues are subject to being banned from riding UBus and banned from attending UM home games for the remainder of the season.

Other Transportation Information

  • There will be no metered parking available on Stanford Drive on game day and Stanford Circle shuttle stop will be relocated.
  • No personal cars, taxis, or ridesharing service will be allowed on Stanford Drive on game day and all riders should use Miller Circle or your on-campus residence for pick-up and drop-off.

Complimentary Lyft Pass

 

Free Lyft Transportation

In place of UBus, all students can request a complimentary Lyft Pass for transportation to and from Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Students MUST submit their request before Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. to receive a complimentary Lyft Code.

  • Pick up and drop off will be anywhere on the Coral Gables Campus
  • Drop off and pick up at Hard Rock Stadium will be at Lot 30, NW 37th Ave
  • The promotion code will only be valid on Saturday, November 23, 2024
  • A Lyft can accommodate up to 4 riders per vehicle, and only 1 student with a Lyft Pass needs to request a ride
  • Each Lyft Pass has enough funds to accommodate one ride from campus to the ride-share lot (Lot 30) at Hard Rock Stadium and a return trip from the ride-share lot at Hard Rock Stadium back to Coral Gables Campus

  • Hardrock Stadium Information

    Students will enter the Stadium through the  NW Gate Student Entrance which will close at the end of the 1st quarter. To locate the NW Gate here is the Hard Rock Stadium parking map.

    Stadium Policies

    • All fans will be subject to security screening upon entrance to Hard Rock Stadium including metal detection and bag check.
    • In accordance with NFL safety policies, the approved bags allowed into the stadium are limited to 1-gallon size clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags and/or a small purse/clutch the size of your hand.
    • Backpacks and umbrellas are not allowed.
    • No food or beverages will be allowed entering the stadium.

    Ride-Sharing Service Information

  • Fan Code of Conduct

    Students contribute positively to the energy and excitement of a Hurricanes home football game when they conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the University’s Student Code of Conduct. Students cited for misconduct on game days will be removed from Hard Rock Stadium and/or University shuttle buses and subject to loss of ticket privileges for the remainder of the season. Disruptive students will also face disciplinary sanctioning by the Dean of Students Office. 

    Disruptive behavior includes, but is not limited to:

    • Violation of alcohol policies
    • Violation of UM identification card policies
    • Loud, threatening, or aggressive behavior
    • Damage to property
    • Failure to comply with any reasonable requests made by official game day staff
